Kohler's
OHC engine has brought the camshaft out of the crankcase resulting in a more even
temperature distribution. And, since the heat is dissipated evenly around the cylinder,
there is less bore distortion.
INTEGRATED CASTING
Kohler's
advanced lost foam casting technology creates an integrated engine casting - without a lot
of separate intricate parts. This significantly reduces the potential for leaks and
minimizes service parts.

For
even fuel distribution and reduced fuel puddling in the manifold, every Kohler OHC engine
features angled intake ports.
SUPERIOR START-UP
Kohler
OHC engines are specifically designed for easy and reliable start up. The rugged
automotive-type belt that drives the cams, eliminates the need for internal gears. This
virtually wipes out cold weather oil drag and improves cold weather starting.
